Practice Schedule (Thursday, June 23rd)

Morning Practice Session:

11 & Up: 8-9:00 AM

10 & Under: 9-10:00 AM

Evening Practice Session: (Monday thru Thursday only, No Friday Night Practices)

No evening practices for the 6 & Under Group

10 & Under: 7-8:00 PM

11 & Up: 8-9:00 PM

While we appreciate team dedication, we ask that you please bring your child(ren) to one practice a day. Due to the large number of swimmers on the team and the limited pool space, we need to ensure that each swimmer gets ample pool time.

The meet times are:

Home meets - Arrive at 5:30, look for the coaches to check in, the pool will close at 6, warm-ups will start soon after. Please do not go into the pool unless you are a member.

Away Meets - directions are on the website - please arrive at 5, check in with the coaches, warm-ups will start soon after. The away meets start at 6

It is very important that you notify the coaches ASAP, if you are unable to attend a meet. You can leave him a note in his mailbox. There are index cards in the pouch on the outside of the boxes. You can email them @ coaches@newtonswimteam.com. Please write it down, there are almost 160 swimmers on the team and we can't expect the coaches to remember if someone told them on the deck during practice, please write it down!

If you are arriving late please let the coaches know so you won't be scratched. We also understand that a lot of the 15-18's work just let the coaches know you are coming and what time to expect you.

The heat sheets are completed 48 hours before the meet, so don't leave any information to the last minute if possible.

Swimsuits - The team requirements are the designated team suit or a solid black or maroon suit. The team suit can be purchased at California Beach Hut on Main Street in Denville.
